UA创作奖•概念设计国际竞赛是面向建筑类院系师生、汇集具有城市责任感及创意理念的系列概念设计竞赛，至今已成功举办14届。UA国际竞赛着重延续理性的设计观念，探索前沿的设计方法，持续地打造理想的城市。为此，主办方虚拟了一座UA城，每年选定一种建筑类型（即城市功能），由参赛者发现这一建筑类型在城市中存在的问题，并提出其未来可能的发展模式，从而不断完善城市的功能。2018年度UA创作奖·概念设计国际竞赛作为系列竞赛的第15届，除竞赛主题具有特别意义外，更在多个方面进行了升级：强强联合哈尔滨工业大学建筑设计研究院携手中国建筑东北设计研究院有限公司，影响力提升；
  奖金翻倍奖金额大幅提高，鼓励性加强。

  Purpose竞赛宗旨
  “纪念”意为人们通过特定事物或行动对人（或事物）表示怀念，是一种具有情感和精神偏向的主体心理活动。而纪念性建筑是为纪念某人或某个事件，负载了特定的纪念精神和情感的物质空间载体。
  Memorization is a subjective psychological activity inclined to emotions and spirits,which expresses remembrance to people(or things)through specific things or behaviors.While,the memorial architecture is the physical and spatial carrier undertaking specific memorial spirits and emotions,which is to commemorate someone or certain event.
  在当今文化语境下，纪念的内涵非常广泛，纪念性建筑不需也不应被明确限定和具体描述，纪念性与日常性并非矛盾，甚至可以并置、交织。纪念，是对历史的封存，也是对记忆的开启，既可以超越日常尺度，也可归于平常生活。而纪念性建筑的创作不只是一种设计方法，更是一种生活态度。
  There is a quite expensive connotation in commemoration,making it unnecessary or non-mandatory to clearly define or specifically describe what memorial architectures are.The natures of“memorial”and“routine”are not contradictory.Instead,they even could be juxtaposed and interwoven.Memorization,the preservation of histories and opening of memories simultaneously,could not only surpass the scales of routine,but also tend to ordinary life.Further,the creation of memorial architectures is not simply an approach to designing,more an attitude toward life.
  本次竞赛以“UA城的纪念性建筑”为题，希望参赛者进行开放、多元、深入的思考，积极探讨物质空间营造与情感精神寄托之间的关系。
  This competition holds the expectation for participants to conduct a brainstorm in an open,pluralistic and insight way,in order to actively explore the relationships between the creation of physical spaces and the dependence existing in emotions and spirits.
  Requirements竞赛要求
  参赛者自行选择真实的基址和纪念的主题，用建筑的语言表达对题目的理解，有针对性地进行概念设计。
  Participants are able to select real sites and topic of memorization,making interpretation of the topic with architectural languages,and preparing the concept designs specifically.

  Process竞赛流程
  以北京时间为准Beijing time
  1．交纳注册费：交纳注册费（100元人民币/组）至竞赛组委会；交纳方式为支付宝转账，支付宝账号为：uajs vip.sina.com
  Payment of Registration Fee:Pay the registration fee(RMB 100/team)to the organizing committee by Alipay.Alipay account:uajs vip.sina.com
  2．竞赛注册：截止日期为2018年12月24日，关注“城市建筑”微信公众号（微信号为UAcity或直接搜索“城市建筑”）进行在线注册并填写详细信息，包括参赛者姓名、指导教师姓名、学校（或单位）名称、电子邮箱、联系电话、邮寄地址及邮政编码，并填写支付宝转账订单号，2018年12月28日发放注册号
  Registration of Competition:Firstly,follow the official WeChat of Urbanism and Architecture(WeChat ID:UAcity)to finish the online registration before December 24,2018.Secondly,fill in the detailed information.The exclusive Registration No.would be obtained upon successful registration.
  3.作品提交：截止日期为2019年1月21日17:00，请在此之前将参赛作品以附件形式发送至邮箱uajs vip.sina.com，竞赛组委会安排统一打印
  Submission of Design:Send the designs as attachments to uajs vip.sina.com before 17:00pm on January 21,2019.The organizing committee would be responsible for the printing in a unified way.
  4.现场评审、网络投票及结果公示
  Site Review,Online Voting and Result Announcement.
  5.竞赛结果公布：竞赛结果公布后于“城市建筑”微信公众号进行相关作品详细报道
  Announcement of Result:The official WeChat of UAcity would report related designs in details after the announcement of results.
  Design Submission作品提交
  1．参赛方案应完整呈现于2张图纸内，图纸分辨率为200dpi（像素/英寸），尺寸为800mm×800mm；图中文字须中、英双语对照，图面表达方式不限
  The design is requested to be fully presented in 2 pieces of drawings with the resolution of 200dpi(pixel/inch)and size of 800mm*800mm.The texts in the drawings are required to be in both Chinese and English.The ways of expression in the drawings have no limitation.
  2．作品提交截止日期为2019年1月21日17:00，请在此之前将参赛作品（jpg格式图纸）以附件形式发送至邮箱uajs vip.sina.com，图纸分别以“注册号-A”“注册号-B”命名；竞赛组委会安排统一打印；邮件名称以注册号命名，其他文件名将不作提交作品之邮件考虑
  It is nice of the participants to send the design drawings as attachments in jpg format to uajs vip.sina.com before 17:00pm on January 21,2019,which are named respectively as“Registration No.-A”and“Registration No.-B”.
  3．连同图纸电子文件一并提交150-200字的作品简介（中文，doc格式），并以注册号命名；获取注册号时的联络电话或电子邮箱若有更改，须特别注明，以免获奖后主办方无法及时联络
  Together with the drawings by email,it is nice of the participants to provide 150-200 words of design introduction(in Chinese,doc format)with the Registration No.as the subject.
  4．图纸及文档发送邮件时切勿打包压缩，以免解压缩失败
  It is suggested not to send files of zip format,in case that the drawings(jpg format)and texts(doc format)fail to be zipped.
  Competition Rule参赛规定
  1．参赛者同意并遵守本竞赛内容及竞赛规定；竞赛组委会对竞赛规定拥有最终解释权
  Participants agree to abide by the contents and rules of the competition.All rights of the competition rules are reserved by the organizing committee.
  2．个人或小组（不超过3人）均可参赛，指导教师人数不多于参赛小组人数
  Both the individuals and teams(no more than 3 persons)are qualified to participate in the competition.The number of supervisors shall be no more than the one of team members.
  3．图纸中不得出现任何有关作者姓名和所在单位的文字或图案，不得出现参赛注册号，不符合规定者取消参赛资格
  It is not allowed to have texts or logos of relative designers’names and organizations,nor the Registration No.in the drawings.Otherwise,the qualification of participants would be canceled.
  4．参赛作品（包括图片、文字）均不退回；参赛者拥有参赛作品的版权，但无条件允许竞赛组织者行使参赛作品署名权以外的其他版权权利
  The designs submitted for competition(including images and texts)would not be returned to the participants who have the copyright of their designs.However,the participants allow unconditionally the organizer to execute other copyrights other than the authorship rights of designs.
  5．参加过其他竞赛的作品，或使用他人曾经在公开场合发表过的创意的作品不允许参加竞赛
  The designs which have ever participated in other competitions,or the designs which have been published by others before are not allowed to participate in this competition.
  Special Note特别说明
  本年度获得一等奖的团队指导教师（限1名），将获邀担任下年度UA创作奖·概念设计国际竞赛评委
  The supervisor(only one)of the team obtaining the 1st Prize this year would be invited to be the judge of 2019 UACA&ICDC.
